For clarification:
What are the license requirements to see the Workload heatmap in a Smartsheet project plan ? I was under the impression that a project manager would NOT need an RM license to see this ?

Hi @joaolima,
yes, for the 2 RM views available in Smartsheet you don't need a RM license. But you need to be a licensed user in the Smartsheet plan.
Hope this helps!

Hi @joaolima
You're correct - once the Workload Tracking has been set up on the sheet, then Owners, Admin, and Editors who are licensed users in Smartsheet can view the workload heatmap and edit the workload schedule.
Here's the article with more information regarding set-up and collaboration:

Hi @LindaC
It looks like your "Assigned To" users are text values. In order for the panel to identify resources, they'll need to be set up as Contacts in your Contact Column.

Hi @LindaC and hi @Genevieve P. ,
as an addition to Genevieve, this must be configured the same way (contacts type) in all sheets where tasks are assigned to the people you want to see in the heat map.
And you need to make sure (if not under your control), that everyone has the same understanding about the time assigned. For example, actual duration of a job versus start and end date, or if 80/90/100 % of a working day is shown as red in the heat map…Hope this helps
