Is there a way to show those who will be out on PTO and what deliverables overlap with those dates?

My vision is to show calendar/widget of individuals that are out of the office/pto and which deliverables overlay with that time off.

    Hello @Vivre Belle,

There is almost certainly a way, but it depends on how your solution is structured. Is this all in a Sheet? Are you using Resource Management?

In a nutshell, so long as you have a way for Smartsheet to identify both the range of dates someone is on PTO and the range of dates for deliverables you will be able to query those ranges and figure out where there is a match.

If you provide some more details and ideally Screenshots of whatever you have set up I may be able to help more.

    Hi @Dan Palenchar ,

Thank you for your input. My vision is that:

    1. Project team submits PTO dates via a form (or another simple method).
    2. When this form is submitted, the person's name and dates they will be out on PTO is populated over calendar or list that shows the deliverables/tasks during those dates.

Currently, I have a project plan that lives in Smartsheet that my project team has access to. I'd like to keep it all in one place. I inserted an example, but of course it does not need to visually look like this. The importance is showing who is on PTO and what tasks/deliverables are due during that time frame. Any guidance?

As long as you label your date type columns the same in both the project plan and the PTO sheet, you can create a report that pulls from both sheets and then set the report to calendar view.
