Enable check-box selection within Board card

Hi,

Problem: We can see a check box exists on the card on the board, however we can't uncheck (or check) it from the card. We have to take the extra steps of opening the editing panel, and selecting/deselecting it there.

Request: Enable us to make edits to all fields on the Board Cards themselves, so that we can work faster and not have to open the edit panel.

Definitely, being able to edit with in card is a great idea, especially for Symbol columns etc. The edit screen opening in the board is nice for larger edits or review. Its a great enhancement idea that could be suggested using the Product Feedback Form

The feature @Marc Shecter is describing used to work. For some reason it has been disabled in a recent update. I would ask that the feature be re-enabled for the reasons you mentioned, as having to open the Edit panel is disruptive to workflow.

For Dev Team reference, I am using Desktop App version 1.0.51, but I noticed that the feature has been disabled in the Web Client as well.

Hi - Following up my OG post. I submitted a help ticket per @Meg Y . The response from support was that the product team is aware and "…are actively investigating the cause."
