Resource Management by Smartsheet -- Good for Small Business?
Hello! I am helping a small high-end contractor optimize his business use of Smartsheet. His organization has a Business plan. He would like to be better able to track workloads of his organization week-to-week & also highlight when subs are overallocated. Wondering if RM is a good option (or if it would be overkill). His organization has ~5 people who work on site and one part time project manager. Does anyone have experience using Smartsheet for an organization of this size and/or have best practices to share about using Smartsheet to track small construction projects that use subs? Also » how can I get him set up with a free trial of RM?

This scenario sounds like it may be a good use-case for the Workload Tracking panel!
Here's more information:
Workload Tracking is immediately available to Business and Enterprise plans in Smartsheet, which means that your contractor does not need to have Resource Management in order to leverage this functionality.
If they like this feature and want to explore more, you can contact the Sales team to discuss a possible Resource Management trial here:

Thank you @Genevieve P.! I will take a look at the Workload Tracking panel — I have already reached out to the Sales team about a Resource Management trial. That seems like a good next step (but we need to get some basics down first, assigning resources will be new for them). I really appreciate your help.
