Dynamic View - Bad Sheet ID Error

Hello community!

I created a report to be used as a source in Dynamic View. I configured Dynamic View Field Logic to display 5 project close detail fields when the project status field is changed to "Complete". When testing, the fields appear when I change the status to "Complete", but when I enter the fields and select Save, I receive a "Bad Request - Invalid Sheet ID" error message. If I remove the logic I can save entries into these fields.

I am the owner of the workspace and all contents.

I tried creating a new report and Dynamic View, but it has the same issue. I have a very similar Dynamic View using a different report that works without any issues, so I know the logic can work.

Has anyone experienced the same issue?

  • Hi @Greg_Lea

How many sheets are associated with the Report?

If you're using a Report as the source for a Dynamic View, then in order to use Logic you'll need to ensure that the columns/fields being referenced exist on all sheets in the Report. Is it possible that one of the fields is missing from a sheet?

Let us know if this helped!

  • Hi @Genevieve P.

Only one sheet is associated with the report. I needed to use a report as the source, as I needed multiple filters that were not available in Dynamic View.

I did finally resolve the issue by changing the Field Logic to "Show the following fields as Editable". It does not allow me to use the "Show the following fields as Required" option.

    Thanks
