Resource Management and Project plan

I'm trying to wrap my ahead around using RM and how the project plan incorporates into it. Are there templates that work best with RM? I also wanted to know if the change mades in the schedule in RM will appear and reflect on the project plan automatically?

To connect a project plan to RM, you will need the following:

• Dependencies enabled
• Contact list column where the resource will appear
• Column to capture allocation percentage
• Start and End Dates

There's constant sync now between Smartsheet and RM, so any change you make in Smartsheet will reflect in RM.
