Objective: Introduce a feature in Smartsheet that ensures critical alerts are delivered without allowing users to opt out, while providing administrators with visibility into any opt-out attempts for non-mandatory alerts.

Key Features:

• Mandatory Alerts: Add the ability for sheet owners and administrators to mark specific alerts as "mandatory," ensuring that users cannot unsubscribe from essential notifications.
• Opt-Out Visibility: For non-mandatory alerts, create a system that tracks and reports any opt-out attempts, notifying sheet owners or administrators to take action if needed.
• Alert Management Dashboard: Provide an admin dashboard that offers a comprehensive view of all alerts, user preferences, and opt-out attempts to maintain control over communications.

This feature will enhance control over critical communications while allowing flexibility where appropriate, ensuring vital updates are always received.
