Can 2 workspaces have same name?

Using the PMO template. I create a workspace for each customer onboarding opportunity that is sold. After a year, I am now getting additional opportunities for existing customers. Is it best to create a new customer workspace, if so, does the name have to be unique? Is there a better way?

Here's the PMO folder structure:

Onboarding Projects Workspace > Onboarding Projects Rollup > Portfolio Level, Project Level.

Project Level has all the customers we have onboarded. Each has a slew of sheets, reports and a dashboard related to the opportunity. The data feeds into the portfolio reports and dashboard.

It is best practice to have unique names for workspaces, but it is 100% possible to have workspaces with the same names. You can also continue to use the same workspace, and have separate folders for each opportunity.

@Michelle Choate 2 - Thanks! If I use a folder w/in a workspace for a new opportunity, so I need to adjust any reports or rollups/dashboard?

It depends what you have those reports aimed at. If they are aimed at the entire workspace, no. But if they are aimed at specific items, then yes.
