Send Row function Not available in WorkApps Report

I am not sure if this is intentional but we cannot use the send row function form a report linked to a WorkApp. I am able to send row from the same report when I access it through the workspace, but when I navigate through the WorkApp it does not exist.

Is there a way around this or can I do anything to change this? It is extremely necessary for my team to send rows through the WorkApp.

Sharing and asset access are subtly different in WorkApps (for example, users can see and edit report contents without being shared to the underlying sheet). That sharing difference might be why you don't see the functionality you are using.

Have you considered alternate setups within the WorkApp structure? For example, could you to assemble something along the lines of adding a Checkbox column that, when checked, triggers an Alert automation sending the contents of a row along the lines of "Event {{Event Name}} has been scheduled on {{Date of Event}}, to occur in {{Location of Event}}. Contact {{Point of Contact Name}} for more information." or whatever would be appropriate for your use case. You can add a Contact column for "Notification Recipient" so people can direct those automated messages, and can also tie a Record a Date automation to a "Notification Sent Date" column. You can then split the items onto two reports for things that have NOT been datestamped with a notification, and those that HAVE been datestamped, to keep things separate.

Of course, this is just one possible workaround; your individual use case will inform the workarounds you may want to implement.
