Dynamic View & Dashboard

I have created a Dynamic View for Directors to allow them the ability to approve or deny a request and add comments.

I have included that Dynamic View to our Tracking Dashboard as a Web Content Widget but now ANYONE who has the ability to view that Dashboard can now approve/deny those requests. HELP!

How do I still publish the Dynamic View so that others can see where their request is in the process but also not be able to have access to edit the Dynamic View's requests directly??

You could create a copy of the dynamic view for the dashboard that is view only. No edit abilities.

But I need it to be editable by only a select few people, but still be viewed by those that have access to the dashboard.

Have you considered workapps or collections? so you can specify what groups have what permissions on the dashboard. (I have not tried with Dynamic view myself, but worth a shot)
