Please add "Select an Existing Sheet Reference" option when creating formulas.

When creating a formula you're given the option to "Reference Another Sheet".

I love this feature but it needs improvement because it ONLY gives you the option to create a new reference.

Yes, you can click the same range as an existing range and it will auto-populate with the correct range number, but that's only if you remember the exact range.

What if you changed the options?

Instead of "Reference Another Sheet" give two options:

  1. "Create a Reference to Another Sheet" and
  2. "Select an existing Sheet Reference"

Example if "Create a Reference to Another Sheet"

Eample if "Select an existing sheet Reference" is selected:

Alternatively, you could keep the same "Reference Another Sheet" option but display the existing sheet references immediately, but also allow the user to browse to the sheet/range they wish to create a new reference from.

PS. The browse window for creating a new sheet reference should always default to the current workspace!
