Limited Color Options in Smartsheet Conditional Formatting
I wanted to bring up an accessibility issue we’ve encountered within Smartsheet’s conditional formatting and background colors in sheets. Our team has a leader with color blindness, and the current limited color options in these areas make it difficult to create visually distinct formatting that remains clear and accessible for all users.
This issue does not exist in other areas of Smartsheet, such as dashboards, where full color customization is available. However, in sheets, we’re unable to select colors beyond the preset choices, which restricts our ability to implement colorblind-friendly palettes and high-contrast formatting.
