Way to calculate parent row % Complete in other columns (like % Complete) for SPI.

We have a Planned Value column that is based on Start and End dates and a SPI column that is based on Planned Value and % Complete. Our Planned Value column is used to show what the task % Complete SHOULD be for the project where the % Complete is what the ACTUAL % Complete for the project is. The SPI uses % Complete/Planned Value to show if a project is behind schedule, on schedule, or ahead of schedule. As you can see in the example, even when all children rows are the same between the Planned Value and the % Complete, the parent values (shown in dark blue and the main parent is shown in red square on attached screenshot) do not match the parent values for the % Complete column.
Discussions with Smartsheet ProDesk were met with being told to input an Enhancement request as the parent row % Complete columns use a formula that can NOT be used in any other column and there was not another way to do this.
Pretty hard to compare expected and actual % Complete values when you can't use the same parent row formulas.
