new feature on engage conference:approval request

Hi, 

I have difficulty to understand new feautre of approval request. I am a property management  company and every month need to upload financial report to client web site. 

Accountant create financial report, then account manager need to approve, after account manager approve, client approval, them mail room will mail out/post to web site

 

As I am admin for smartsheet, how can I set up approval process?  both account and manager are editor but client is not shared user. 

I think I will set up column in SS, date to create report. Once date is filled,  then approval request will send to account manager.  After that, I do not how should use approval request feature at SS.
