I use Smartsheet’s ‘Text and Summaries’ AI feature with the following prompt:
“Using the Project Name, Overall Status, Scope Status, Timeline Status, Budget Status, and Status Comment, identify projects that are in trouble or trending to red and insert an explanation why.”
After running the analysis, I paste the AI’s results into a cell, then continue to copy and paste the analysis into the corresponding cells for the remaining rows of the worksheet.
However, whenever the data changes and I need an updated analysis, I have to repeat the entire process by rerunning the ‘Text and Summaries’ AI feature and re-entering the prompt.
It would be extremely helpful if the analysis in each cell could automatically update every time the data changes, eliminating the need for manual re-analysis and copy-pasting.
Additionally, having AI functionality available within Smartsheet reports would be a highly valuable and much-appreciated feature enhancement.
