Ability to restrict a form to the domain or certain users, and not have to enable Safe Sharing for the entire plan.
Safe Sharing restricts ALL smartsheet items. SSO just requires the person to make an account.
An individual form could be used for various reasons. For example: a sale service request sheet has two forms: 1) external customers - regular price 2)internal users - discounted price. SpongebobS@bikinibottom.com is an external user and requesting a service. If SafeSharing is on, SpongebobS@bikinibottom.com cannot access any form, and Salesperson 1 cannot manually add SpongebobS@bikinibottom.com and notify them from the sheet until that email address is added by an admin. If SSO is on, SpongebobS@bikinibottom.com can still complete the internal user form using a link that was shared with them by Patrick.Star@employee.com if they make a smartsheet account.
Yes, technically you can create all sorts of automations and formulas to catch that an unapproved person submitted a form. But it would be nice to STOP the user from even accessing & submitting.
