Project Management: Weekly capture of actuals against planned hours
Many thanks in advance!
We have a team of project associates that are asisgned to a number of tasks on a project in a smartsheet. I want to be able to send a timesheet to each resource at the end of every week. On the timesheet I would like to display the task for the week and ask for actual hours to be entered. These hours i would capture by person, week ending. in a report to be used for invoicing. This is a simple timesheet capture mechanism against an existing project plan.
Has anyone figured out an approach to this ?
Thanks again!

The reporting tool can be used to pull in all the tasks assigned to a specific user in a given timeframe. You cannot build formulas in a report but if you have a formula in your sheet that sums all the hours a user worked in a given timeframe, you can include that row/formula in your report to show all the tasks a user did in a week and a sum of the hours worked. Here is info on reports: http://help.smartsheet.com/customer/portal/articles/522214-creating-reports
