Risk Status on my Smartsheet using formulas
I am using Blue, Green, Yellow and Red for my project status - I have a formula around it that will change the color accordingly. What I want to do is if the color ever turns Yellow or Red log it as a risk in another column. I can get it to work but if it is ever a risk I want it to remain a risk even if the task turns back to Blue or Green. That way I can keep up with what has been and is a risk to the project.
I would also like for it to auto number my risk if there is any way possible?
Any suggestions or examples?

I don't think its possible to do what you want with a formula. Formulas always look at the current status of a cell, so if it calculated a risk and then changed the status would as well.
Smartsheets can auto-number rows. But I don't think you can use it to auto-number a risk that appears at random in a row.
I recommend submitting a Product Enhancement Request for what you're looking for.

Thanks - I thought that would be my answer - I have tried several ways to back door it but to no avail
