Locking view when sharing

Hello,

I have used Smartsheet for some time now, but just started investigating using Card view.  Unfortunately, Card view cannot be used on a report.  Previously I had a report that combined my personal tasks as a manager from one sheet with tasks from my involvement in projects my employees are working on to create my weekly to do list.  I would like to do the same, but view in Card view.  I could do this if we all shared the same sheet with different filters so that they could only see things they are assigned to, but I don't see that you can lock that filter so they cannot remove it and see confidential tasks.  Any ideas?  How else could this be accomplished?

I share your same grief over not having card-view in reports. Please submit a product enhancement request around this much-desired feature.

The problem is that filter's are based on each users' individual view and each user sees the sheet and can apply shared filters but may also change those filters. I don't think there is a way to fix your issue with desiring card view. Having card view in reports would DEFINITELY be a plus.
