Reporting Using Parent Child Relationships

Hello -

I have created a report  to display the current user's list of high level milestones. This list is supposed to display any milestone that is blank under parent child relationship. This ensures only high level tasks are displayed. Its seems to work fairly well, but I have encountered one issue.  For one of my sheets the parent is not displaying in the report even though the filter is blank as specified in my report criteria. The next level of tasks do display from the sheet.

Can someone explain what I am doing wrong?

Thanks so much!

Katye

  • Hi Katye,

It's possible that the name of the column or the column type (e.g. text/number vs dropdown list) in the sheet that isn't displaying is different from the rest of your sheets.

Double-check the column type and name of your sheet compared to the sheets that are being pulled into the report to make sure they match exactly.
