Sending Multiple lines for Approval at one time

Hi, has anyone figured out a way to send an approval request for more than one row at a time? I have rows that all need approved that need to be sent in the approval request along with their information, much like a daily notification of changes, however in approval request form. Currently we are able to send for approval one row at a time causing an overload of emails to the approver. If we update and need approval on 200 lines, he is getting 200 emails. Is there a way to send one email per day on rows that have a certain value in one particular column, then have the approval request be for all changes?

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to consolidate the approval requests. It gets sent one by one. A possible workaround could be to use a report instead where they can mark the line as approved or declined or similar.

How are you triggering the approval notification? For example if you use a date column for a trigger, you would enter a date in the rows you need approval for and then save the sheet. The approvals will go out in one e-mail. I believe the trick is to be able to save the sheet after you have entered all of your dates in the rows where the approval is needed. You might have to adjust your auto-save settings.

I'd be happy to explain!

You could use a report that would show all outstanding approvals. We could still use a dropdown list with Sent, Approved, Declined, or similar, but it could also work with a checkbox instead.
