Is it possible to save custom views for columns?
I would like to be able to show, hide, sort, and order columns via a template. I am able to filter based on specific conditions but I also need to be able to view the data a specific way.
Hi Mike,
You can use filters in the sheets to show specific rows or use different reports to sort rows and to hide or change the order of columns. It sounds to me as multiple reports that are sorted and arranged in the specific views that you want and need would be the best solution.

Thank you. this is what I have done but just wondering if it was possible without having to use a report.
Happy to help!
Mike
have you tried setting up a dashboard to view your data in ways that will be more graphically appealing to the user?
Otherwise, I dont see an easy solution.
Hope that helps

The SSFeatures browser extension allows you to save and load column "Views" for column visibility, as well as saving sort "settings" for sorting.
To use SSFeatures' column views:
Click the "Hide / Unhide Columns" button and use the Save button to name your view. Load it instantly with one click whenever you need that configuration.
After you click "Hide / Unhide Columns", you'll see a popup that looks like this:
Use "Save" and "Load" to create column views.
You can read more about this feature here:

Hi, I have automations in place to generate various documents, based on the form completed. Once the document is generated, the user WOULD receive an email that included a message I create and then a link (at the very bottom) for the recipient to click on to download the generated document. Now, I still get the email but…
Is anyone aware of a method to inspect the login history of individuals added to your Safe Sharing Exempt List? We feel it would be wise to audit this periodically and then disavow anyone who has not logged in after x months
Hi! We have a project list that goes through our SteerCo for approvals on Wednesdays. I have an automation that sends all approval decisions from the meeting to the stakeholders following the meeting (set an hour after meeting conclusion). We have it set up so that only a couple admins can see the main sheet, all other…
