Can't upload doc, can't tell why
I have a sheet with a lot of docs uploaded, tried to load another yesterday and couldn't. I'm guessing there are # and/or size limitations for files for sheets, but I can't find that info anywhere - and even if I knew the limitations, I'm not sure how I'd see if I'm reaching them with any particular sheet.
Any ideas?

My user got an error message, but didn't capture it. As I said, I'm guessing it's because there's a lot in the sheet, but I don't know the parameters allowed - # files (I thought it was unlimited), & size of files (I thought each file must not exceed 250 MB, and the file she tried to load did not exceed that).
When she deleted other files from the sheet she was able to load her file, so I'm guessing it may have something to do with overall storage.

Maybe some limits as below were exceeded?
Max rows: 5,000, Max columns: 200, Max cells: 200,000
The maximum size of a file that can be uploaded to a sheet owned by a licensed (paid) user is 250 MB per file. For a sheet owned by a trial account, this maximum is 30 MB per file. You can upload 100 files at a time. While there isn't a limit to the total number of attachments allowed on a row or sheet, you are bound by the amount of storage space included in the sheet owner's subscription.

A couple of additional notes about the storage space limits...
.
This storage space is across all sheets owned by the individual.
.
It also does not matter who attaches the file/doc. If I own the sheet, then it counts towards my storage space even if I am not the one to attach it.
.
Additionally, I cannot specifically speak to other shared plan types, but I am part of an Enterprise plan here at my work. Our storage space limit is based on how many licensed users we have.
I can't remember the exact numbers, but for easy math lets just say each user is allowed up to 1 GB of storage. Each person's storage limit contributes to an overall storage limit for the group. So if we have 20 licensed users, that gives us as a group a total of 20 GB.
So if I hurry up and attach 20 GB worth of files and docs to my sheets, that would mean no one else on my plan would be able to store any attachments.
.
Again... I can't remember the exact numbers, but that is the general idea of how that all works.

Hello
I have been trying to add docs to my sheet and they do not seem to attach. It will start to load and show me the progress wheel next to the document in the upload wheel, but right as it reaches 100%, the document disappears. I have tried various documents of different formats and sizes. Please help!

Which browser are you using? Have you tried another one?
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week!

@Crystal Gonzalez In addition to Andree's suggestion...
After logging out, clear your browser's cache and cookies BEFORE logging back in again.

If you are working remotely, you may need to VPN in to ensure secure file transfer. This is the case for us. Once we log in to VPN files will attach.
