Recommended Master Project Document?

Is there a recommended method for tracking multiple projects? A master sheet or doc that shows the status or project of multiple projects? We've done some basic sheet linking but there was no status update and it was fairly manual. It would be great if there was a way to create a line item in the master project document which then automatically create a new linked project spreadsheet (from a template).

Any suggestions or thoughts are appreciated!

I think you are talking about the use of reports. Something I am looking into for the same reason.

Hi Joseph and Andrew! Check out the Project Portfolio Rollup solution. It should help you manage different projects, and roll up that data into master reports. You could even customize it to include individual employee reports to ensure they arn't double booked and have full schedules.

Also, there is a new feature coming for a dashboard, either project or mulltiple projects.
