Need way to add a counter on a dashboard for user "views" or visits

Hi everyone. Absolute beginner here. I'm tasked to make a few dashboards for other internal company teams on project progress, etc. We want to track how often people visit each dashboard and thought it might be useful to include that as a counter widget on the dashboards.

Mockup example below.

I don't believe that's possible natively with Smartsheet. I suggest submitting a Product Enhancement Request.

I don't know of an automated way either. You could use the activity log, export to excel, and try to do some analysis off of it to record views on a frequency you wanted to.

Hi Quinn,

As a workaround, you might set something up with the help of a third-party service like Zapier or similar. (count the clicks of the link and then that gets added to a sheet)

There are multiple iframe counter on the internet such as : https://www.powr.io/plugins/hit-counter/ or https://elfsight.com/visitor-counter-widget/iframe/

Create the widget, get the iframe code assotiated and embbed the iframe into the dashboard.
