Parent Row Rollup
Is there a way to rollup values of a custom column to a parent and other hierarchical parents without using the SUM function in each parent row?
For example: I added columns A, B, and C. Column C = A * B. Is there a function or some other way to sum up column C to a parent row?
Or do I need to use the SUM function in the parent row(s)?

Hi Ronald, the best option for this would be to use the SUM(CHILDREN() function. This will sum all the values in the child rows for that column and will include any new rows that are added as children.

Is it possible to have text values show in a parent row? I've got several available statuses in a "status" column that specify whether a task is awaiting review, requires attention etc. If even one of the child tasks is set to "requires attention", I'd like that to show in the parent row. This will allow me to see the status of any task by looking at the parent row instead of expanding all parents to check for children that have been specified as "requires attention".
