Automation for Request Update not working

Hello, 

I have created a Workflow Automation for when a Customer submits a Warranty Form into our Company. The Workflow has a condition where if one of the fields on a Form is Blank, then it should send back an Update to fill in the Blank Field. I dont want this to be a required entry on a Form for now. 

I have snipped the Workflow Automation so you can see what i have built. At present, the updates should be coming back to me as i am testing this out, but i have not seen an Update Request. Also, there isn't an Icon in the Row Action Column

Can someone help to see if i have done anything wrong?

    Hi Andy,

    I'd recommend checking your automation permissions and your personal settings > notifications and that "Include my changes in sheet notifications" is checked.

    Was that the error?

    Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, [email protected])

    Hi Paul,

    If I remember correctly, I added a condition and then it worked, but I tried both methods now, and both worked.

    Try making a copy of the Workflow and see if that works.

    I'll get back to the post if I think of something else.

  • What if you add a condition and it doesn't work, but it works without a condition?
