Approval: two users/same level
Hello,
Is there a way I can send an approval form to two managers who both need to sign off on each staff member's annual leave? I can do it if I send to Manager A first and then Manager B once the first step has been completed, but wondered if there's a way to do them both at the same time that I'm not seeing...?

Hi Kirstine,
You would have to have two separate workflows but they could trigger at the same time.
Would that work?
Have a fantastic day!

Ah OK. Yes I can absolutely do that, thank you.
Shame there's not the option to have more than one action from a single trigger. Especially when you can do this after it's been approved or declined!

Happy to help!
To have more than one action from a trigger would be an excellent enhancement.

Great idea! I'll do it today!!

Sorry Andrée, I've not done this yet but just had a thought... as soon as the first workflow 'path' has been approved it will show as approved won't it? I need both managers to have approved the annual leave dates before it's authorised.
I can put some extra bits in to get around this (three more columns: approved 1, approved 2 and =IF both approved, and then a third workflow, triggered when the whole thing is completed to let the employee know) but surely there's a better solution...?!?

I'd recommend either adding one column that would check if both columns for the approval process is approved and then it would show Approved, and you can use that to trigger the alert, or you could have an alert that would only trigger if both approvals are approved.
Make sense?
