Limiting Card View Data Entry Fields

Hi,
Unfortunately, it's not possible to limit or hide any fields in the edit view at the moment, but it's two great ideas!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
Hope that helps!
Have a fantastic day!

Hi Andree,
Thanks for checking in. Is there any way to use a custom form for an existing row?
I have seen this often but an alternative would be if you can pass in a row number to a custom form.
n automation you can select what fields to show for a specific row you want updated - so this is a custom form that allows editing an existing row.
Thanks again!

Happy to help!
Can you tell me more about the use case and I might be able to come up with a solution?

The intake form serves two project types and two sets of internal users (power and normal)
We want to limit the fields that the non power users see when they click on a card to edit their part of the sheet (10 or so fields vs. about 100 total in sheet).
We don't want the normal users to have to scroll past dozens of fields that they are not involved with to get to the few they need to fill - also would help prevent accidental edits to fields they should not edit. I know we can lock the fields but it is still complicated for them to have to scroll past them all to get to the few they must find and fill
-
If possible, I would reorder the columns so that the normal users have access to their fields in the simplest way or create a report with only their fields or possible send out an update request that they fill in.
Another option could be the Premium add-on called Dynamic View, where it can be set up to only show what's relevant for each phase.
Would any of those options work/help?

What is the cost of Dynamic View? I inquired, but have not received an answer.

Hi,
It depends!
How many different Dynamic Views are needed? How many employees are there at your company?
Hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week!
