Symbols as a Dropdown list (for Card View)

Thank you for launching Card View, it looks promising

 

Icons and Checks are kinds of Dropdown lists, is there a way to turn them into viable categories for the "View by:" in Card View ?

YES!!!  It was one of the first things that I tried to do.  I would be awesome to see card lanes based on symbol type!
