Hello,
I created a draft version of a workspace, now I need to transfer it to a licensed user and I get:
"You have exceeded the maximum number of emails that your account can send"
How can I get this fixed????
Thanks
Karen
Hi Karen,
Check the limits here: https://www.smartsheet.com/legal/limits-policy
If that's not the reason, I would recommend that you reach out to the Smartsheet Support Team. Smartsheet Support Team
Hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week!

Thanks Andrée.
Does that mean that tomorrow I will be able to transfer the ownership of the sheet?
Thanks again.
Happy to help!
Yes, but it depends on your account, and if it's a trial account, there is a total limit of how many emails can be sent.
Which account do you have?
It is a trial account. But now we have got a licensed user and I need to transfer him the ownership of the sheets we created as drafts.
Have you tried it today? How many emails do you think you've sent with the trial account?
I did try. And it does not let me share it
I sent a lot of emails as we built the draft version. It is a workflow sheet I am building and I had no idea there was a limit.
Do you know if I have a chance of just transffering the ownership to another licensed user and not loosing all the work done?
Thanks a lot.
Ok.
I don't think you can transfer the ownership. I'd recommend waiting and trying tomorrow or contacting Smartsheet support.
Let me know how it goes!
I have provisional users who, under the legacy model, were unlicensed users with editing permissions for workspaces. I’ve now changed their role to "viewers" and assigned editing permissions to specific workspaces, aiming to maintain the same editing experience as before. However, they cannot edit fields within tasks or…
I'm trying to figure out how to delete an inactive Smartsheet account so I can use that email address for another account. The account I'm trying to delete was a free account with no system admin, so there's no one to contact. The AI bot with the Help Center told me my only option was to use the Smartsheet Community. Any…
Hi- We have been using a SmartSheet Form for a while, and users have been able to enter 000-000-0000 if they don't know a person's phone number. However, over the past few days, it appears that the phone number validation field will not allow all zeros any more. Is there a way that I can change this? We would like the…
