Sending notifications to a specific user for any row changes

Hi,

 

I want to send email/mobile notifications to only the "Assigned To" person when anything (including attachments/discussions) changes for that particular row. Please think of this scenario where a particular task is assigned to a specific resource. Now any changes to that task need to be notified to only that resource and may be the manager. Notifications don't currently have a similar structure like Alerts where you can choose the columns having data type as "Contacts List".

 

Can anyone please advise how to achieve this?

Tim is correct.  This is not currently possible, but we are working to add support for this feature.  Don't have a firm target date yet but please stay tuned.  Thanks
