Dashboard reading data from same sell

I want to be able to display the data from the same cell in a sheet within the dashboard

The sheet is updated using forms which put new data on the top row, but the value of the cell I had selected in the top row (now the second row) remains in the dashboard, not the new value in the top row cell

How do I set the dashboard so it only reflects the values in fixed cell

Hi John,

You'd have to use a formula in a specific cell or maybe in the Sheet Summary section for the value to be updated automatically.

Sorry for the late answer. I missed your post.

The following will always show the latest value by looking at the Created date.

Try something like this.

=INDEX(Value:Value; MATCH(MAX(Created:Created); Created:Created; 0))

.

The same version but with the below changes for your and others convenience.

=INDEX(Value:Value, MATCH(MAX(Created:Created), Created:Created, 0))

Depending on your country, you’ll need to exchange the comma to a period and the semi-colon to a comma.
