How to import data from another sheet
Comments
-
Hi Mr. Cordero,
In Smartsheet you would link from one sheet to the other. You can link one cell at a time or you can do ranges. There are 2 ways to do this. You can right click and choose Link from cell or there is a link button on the left side under the Highlighter button where all the other buttons are. There is also a lot of information regarding linking within the community.
I hope this helps,
Peace!

True.. the syntax between SS and Excel are different, but SS supports MANY Excel formulas. If you just trying to 1) import a sheet; 2) create a formula and 3) Hide a formula. Then See the links below.
I've created many formulas in SS and have then ususally in columns to the far right on the sheet. I've learned to LOCK the columns and then have in my column title : "Function performed - FORMULA - DO NOT DELETE - COPY DOWN"
