Pivot not updating formula column in child rows

Hello I am working with the pivot app and created a new column that is basically (ColumnName@row-ColumnName2@row). There are 2 sections in the row data and one section(Example: Team) will add this formula since it is the parent, but the formula won't carry when the second section of row data (Example: Employee Name) has new information in there. This has happened with every pivot I have made with this process and want to see if there is a workaround or I am missing something.

Hi Michael,

When I tested this, hierarchies were not a factor for whether or not a formula would auto-populate; it follows the same rules as in our Help Center on formulas (see here).
