Workflow Trigger Timing?
Does the workflow trigger activate when the sheet is saved (manual or auto) or is it when the actual change to the trigger field occurs? I am presuming the sheet has to actually be saved for the trigger to activate. Appreciate your feedback.

Your assumption is correct. The sheet has to be saved for the triggers to trigger.

That doesn’t sound right.
Can you maybe share some screenshots of the workflow(s)? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)

I have been testing it and it looks like it is actually triggered when the change to the sheet is saved, irrespective of when the trigger field is changed. I didn't see anything in the literature on whether or not the sheet needed to be saved, just making sure.

It should be when the sheet is saved, but some things might save immediately. What kind of fields is it?
Also, do you have auto-save activated?

Well, this doesn't match what has been said above.
I'm building a new sheet with a workflow (send an update request) to be triggered when a field is not empty.
The workflow is triggered before I save the sheet. Then again when the sheet is saved. So, I'm getting double emails. But the 1st email, has no data to the included fields. Is there a way I can stop this?
