Change the color of Task Bars in Calendar View

I would like to change the color of task bars in calendar view. I understand I can right click and change these one by one, but I would like them to change automatically. I have tried manually changing the rows in Grid View to reflect the color I want the task bars to be in Calendar View with no luck. I also used conditional formatting to change the color of the rows, but this is not kept over and reflected in the task bar color when I change to Calendar View.

It seems like there should be an easy solution to this, but I have not found it. I have looked through several of the help articles, and from what I am reading, it seems like the conditional formatting option should work. But it doesn't for me. I'd prefer not to do this manually, as I would need to do this for over 700 different tasks.

Hi David,

Under the conditional formatting button at the top, you should see the option to change the "Task Bar" colour based on the conditions. This should update the colour on the gantt automatically.

Thank you for the help. I am slightly embarrassed that it was that simple. I have used conditional formatting many times before and never really saw where it said "Task Bar" right at the bottom. I always used the options right above that. Again, thanks for the help.

What about a situation where the Task Bar selection in the conditional formatting does not appear?

Do I need to be in a specific screen for this to be available?

This option will only appear if the location specified at the end of the rule is set to entire row (since the Task Bar has no way of filtering for specific columns).
