Numeric Field instead of Text in MS Forms to Power Automate to SS

I have a MS Flow (power automate) that adds a new row to SS when an MS Form is submitted. I have additional columns in the SS that are not in the form for formula purposes. When the Opex and Capex cost come in I think they come in as text instead of numbers (field is numeric field in form). Complete price is supposed to be the sum of opex and capex. If I do =opex cost + capex cost it gives me what you see below. If I do =sum of opex and capex it gives me $0. Has anyone else experienced this?
