Link to form asking to create an account

I have deactivated the option on a form that requires people to login to smartsheet to access the form, then copied the link and made it a QR Code, but when the QR code is scanned on an iphone, it takes you through the process of creating an account.

What am I doing wrong, please help.

The same happens with my newly created form. The "Smartsheet login" flag is off in form parameters, but the link is still asking to log in or register. 😫

ok ... so after several tests and trial and error runs this is what I've found out. When the link or code is scanned/clicked on, smartsheet looks for the app first in the device you're using. If the device you are using has the app installed, then it forces you to create and account and it will ask you for your credentials even when the log in switch is off.

If the device your using does NOT have the smartsheet app installed, then it works as it is supposed to. The form will open without asking you to create an account.

At the end, it made sense ... if you install the app, it's because you have or are interested in having an account.

Hi, was the only fix to delete the app from the phone? I did notice that if the link was sent using Outlook, clicking the link would open the SmartSheet App, if installed. However, using another email client opened the form, even with the App installed. Seems like a glitch to me? Is there any code we can use to force the link to open the form. It's is a very useful feature for quick data entry that is close to perfect.
