Is there to way to access a Form from Outlook Add-in?
Right now my team sends requests via email and I use the Outlook Add-in to upload them my "to do" smartsheet. We have a form that they should be filling out instead, but it's almost impossible to get them to use the form because it is easier and quicker to just forward an email or email chain that has all the relevant information.
Is there any way for my team to upload an email into a Form directly from Outlook? In other words, instead of forwarding the email to me or opening a tab in their web browser to open the form link, they access and fill out the request form right from their inbox via the add-in?

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Hi,
This sort of resonates with what I'd like to do. I have worked in a document management system where it was possible to generate a custom email address (bulk email) that, when used, sent the email directly to the document container, along with attachments. Even more useful, a workflow could be initiated once the email landed in the cloud environment where RFIs or consultant notes would go to the PM for review or distribution.
It would be super useful if smartsheet colab's could just email directly to the controlling Sheet (Form?) using a project address, eg 'mynewhouse@smartsheet'. It would be further enhanced if everyone used a standard subject line syntax like '20201014 RFI roof paint spec'

Great idea! That would be a great addition to Smartsheet features.

As a possible workaround, you could maybe use a 3rd party service like Zapier or similar.
Is that an option?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!
