Access Cell History Modified Date in a formula?

Is it possible to access the stored date of cell's modification in a formula? I need to send email notification when a process is marked complete by a user. 

 

I see that I can view the cell history, and there is clear documentation of the date something changed, but if I could access that data in a formula in a new cell to output whatever the last modified date was - that would be incredible. 

 

Example: =LastModifiedDate([Column2]2) would give me the last modified date of column 2, row 2. 

 

Please add a vote for this functionality so that I can send detailed email messages based on the date that a cell changed!

Can that data be exported at all?  IOW, is there any other way to get that data besides right clicking that cell and selecting to view that data?

Another vote. I think this would help with a functionality we're seeking - number of times a cell was modified. So, for example, when a new project is submitted with an end date, I'd like to be able to calculate how many times that date (cell) was modified.

Yes! Do this!

This would be very useful, for example, for capturing approvals in an editorial calendar. It may actually allow us to skip looking for a new calendaring system.

1. USER creates a row with the details of a social media post, web site article, etc.
2. MANAGER selects their name in the "Approved By" column indicating their approval.
3. The "Approval Date" column automatically populates with the time stamp of when the "Approved By" cell in its row was modified.
