Message Only Notifications with Attachments

Hello, I am trying to send a notification with the Message Only setting while including an attachment that is linked to the row. The primary goal of this is sending the notification without sending a link to the full datasheet to an external contact. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was just about to add the same question.

I tried automating sending attachments once document generator came out but having the link to my databases in the notification defeats the purpose. I am having to reply to each email request with screen shots of which link needs to be click for the attachment.

Despite adding "Attachment is at the bottom of this email Do NOT click on the '(Sheet name).... link", I still receive continual automated requests to share the sheet because they click on the top link.'

Looking for the syntax to include the attachment - i.e., {{Attachment}} - maybe far fetched that it would be that simple :D

Hi, is there any update to this feature? I am having the same issue now where I am trying to send the message only without all of the system information; and also include the attachment (for a cleaner look). But I cant seem to figure out what the syntax is.

The only way I have found to send an attachment with an email direct from a Smartsheet Grid without incorporating the link to the sheet is to manually create it row by row using the Send Email function on the row menu.

If you are sending a few to the same recipient you can highlight all rows then Send Email, include the attachment.

This does work. Albeit a bit manual.
