Control Center Global Update error for dashboard update

I am receiving the following error at the 'Confirm Global Update Test' step for an update type of Update Dashboards via Global Updates in Control Center:

Error! Failed to overwrite sight. Error (4000): An unexpected error has occurred. Please contact the Support team at https://help.smartsheet.com/contact for assistance.

Has anyone else seen this error and been able to work around it?

Did you have allow partial updates turned on? Error messaging in a weak point in CC. It's probably because it cant find a data element or object you're trying to show.

Thanks, Mark. I did try that - unfortunately I received the same error message.

I found the issue has something to do with the Quick Links widget. When I removed that widget, the update was successful.

Hi TJ North,

I recently had the same issue and it was exactly issue that you described. If quick links are added to some widgets the Error 4000 happens. It is a bug and by today unfortunately still not solved
