Workflow Automation - Copy Select Cells when Using Copy Row

Does anyone know a method to selectively copy cells to a different sheet using the built-in workflows? Copy/Move row almost does the trick, except there are columns on the source sheet that I specifically want to exclude from the destination sheet. I'd rather not rely on hiding the unused columns on the destination sheet as the source sheet may contain data that users on the destination sheet shouldn't have access to

If your license include the DataMesh add-on this would be quite easy. If not, then unfortunately not.

    Hi @JShield

I hope you're well and safe!

To add to Troy's excellent advice/answer.

You could use cross-sheet formulas combined with either a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH structure to connect the sheets, and when you update the source sheet, it will reflect on the destination sheet.

Another option would be to use so-called helper sheets. In short, copy the row to a helper sheet and then use my method described previously to get the values you need to another helper sheet and then copy/move the row from that sheet to the main destination sheet.

    Make sense?

Would any of those options work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic week!
