Hey Community!

We're looking at getting a new ERP system in the next 6-12 months and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations that integrated well with Smartsheet? We are a manufacturing company looking for a system that will handle inventory management, purchasing, accounting, production & shipping and something that can handle two-way communication with Smartsheet. We came across Acumatica, which we will be looking into, as well as MS Dynamics. Does anyone have any experience with any of those ERP solutions & Smartsheet? Any other recommendations?

Thanks!

    Hey Amanda and Tom,

My recommendation based on past experience with ERP implementations is to make this a critical requirement in your RFP and during your interview process. ERPs are a big investment and some have better APIs than others. Smartsheet has a very strong API with which software developers can easily work. You will want an ERP provider that gives open access to your own developer to create middleware to facilitate your needs. It is probably not something your ERP provider will include in their professional services, but ensuring they have an open API will allow you to hire a programmer to fill in the gaps.

Hope that helps a little bit :)
