Training Expiry Dates
I have a sheet that stores all training records. Some expire in 3 years, some in 1 year....it varies.
Each type of training is housed in one column and employee names listed in the rows.
Is there any way to use conditional formatting on a column to highlight a specific cell when an original training completion date that goes over 3 years (or whatever the expiration range is)?
I couldn't figure out what to choose

You would need to set up a helper column with a formula.
You could either use a date type column with a formula to populate a date and then base the conditional formatting off of that date being in the past or you can use something such as a flag or checkbox column and use a formula to flag or check the rows and base your conditional formatting off of that.

Lisa, we are looking at setting up a sheet for training records. Can you share a template that works for you?

Erik,
I have not found a solution yet with the current layout of this sheet. I plan on looking at this again a bit closer.
