Username + Password authentication is still working after disabling in Admin Console
Hi all,
We are using Azure AD to authenticate into Smartsheet. Recently, I disabled the Username + Password authentication option (including Administrators) with the goal of users only being able to use SSO. However, users are still able to use their Smartsheet-specific passwords to log into our instance. Has anyone else experienced this and how did you work to resolve?

Hi @tross417
If you have disabled the Email + Password option for the members of your Plan, then no, they shouldn't be able to log in with their Email + Password. Is it possible that the users that are doing this aren't a part of your plan/account?
If you can confirm that the users logging in this way should not be, I would suggest reaching out to Smartsheet Support with screen captures or a video recording of your current configuration and a successful login from a user through the incorrect method (along with their email address).
Cheers,
Genevieve
