Why is Embed Restricted to Certain Domains

Why can I not embed whatever I want into a Smartsheet dashboard? I want to embed a timer, but it won't work because it is not on the list of approved domains... I don't understand why it is restricted at all.

I was attempting to embed the following code:

@Paul Newcome, I understand which ones are supported, but I don't understand why embedding other things are deliberately blocked, considering it reduces the functionality of the product. I don't see the benefit in restricting what can be embedded.

That would be something that SS would have to answer for you. Maybe reaching out to Support could provide an answer.

SS also seems to not allow URL's to SS folders on WorkApps. This should really be allowed! It would definitely improve the flexibility of WorkApps.
