Can this possibly be true - that Smartsheet doesn't have column validation for numbers?

I'm sat here flabbergasted. Can it possibly be true that Smartsheet doesn't enable you to natively enforce simple validation rules such as:

a) Entry being a number

b) Being between 2 values

Really? I'm baffled by this. Surely the devs would have realised this is an essential feature on DAY 1?

I can only assume they are either gaslighting us or making sure they have work to do in the future.

If this feature is hiding somewhere in plain sight, please put me out of my misery.

Thanks for the honest feedback Ed. There are several forms of validation available in Smartsheet. You can force entry for checkboxes, contact/email, symbols, dropdowns and other column types. Also you will find validation in the form settings, if you click on any text field and look in the right pane for the setting you can select between Number Only, Percentage, Email, Phone, and No Validation. If this isn't what you are looking for, you can use our feedback form which will be reviewed by the Product team for a future enhancement to the product.
