Hide or reveal a web form question based on answer from previous field

Is there a way to hide or reveal a question/text input field in a web form based on the answer from the previous question?

For example, I am creating daily truck check forms for our paramedics and one question is "how many back rafts are there?". The dropdown list choices for them are "3", "Restocked", "Ordered" and "Other". If they select "Other" I want the next field for them to be a text input field. If they select any of the other options I just want them to move on to the next question.

Please tell me if this is possible, and how to do this if it is.

This is not currently possible. Please submit it as an enhancement request. It would be very useful for collecting a subset of data based on someone's response. There is a link in the right hand column of the community to submit requests.

Mike is correct, this isn't currently possible in Smartsheet.

I've seen customers set up this type of custom, related question flow with Google Forms.

You can even have the results from the Google Form sync with Smartsheet using our integration: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/1850129-smartsheet-sync-add-on-for-google-forms#sync

Shaine, that is a great option. However, Phillip, do be aware that the sync is one-way to Smartsheets.
